Thousands of Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in Twibbonize for the 70th Boule

A few days this July, there is a sorority event in Orlando, Florida. It is a national conference, from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. This is the time for the sorority members to gather together to inspire and further their efforts of service to the communities as Alpha Kappa Alpha (also called AKA) is known as the first Greek-letter organization for collegiate Black women in the United States.

Cited to prnewswire.com, a day before the sorority’s international convention began, there were hundreds of AKA sorority members who stood in their trademark pink and green colors outside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park at Walt Disney World Resort late Saturday night. Whereas, more than 10,000 women are expected to attend the 70th International Boule Convention from July 5 until 15, 2022 at Orange County Convention Center.

Prnewswire.com reported that AKA Members posed in their organization’s distinctive pink and green colors amid glowing pink and green lights, and the members attended a private after-hours reception hosted by Disney at the park to kick off the sorority’s 70th biennial conference known as the Boule. There has also been created a frame in Twibbonize for the members of AKA Sorority, Inc®️ to join the 70th Boule Convention.

There are more than 8 thousand members has used the frame for their photo to support the event. According to aka1908.com, AKA is established in 1908, and until now, there are more than 300 thousand members whose dedicated to implementing programs of service that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of the local, national and international communities.
