A Twibbonize Frame of 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

As a country that has a geographical location that is vulnerable to natural disasters such as earthquakes, drills and exercises are very important in the Philippines to strengthen disaster response. With that being said, the Department of Education, City Schools Division of Dasmarinas through its website has just published a post about the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Memorandum No. 21, s. 2022 titled ‘Conduct of the CY 2022 Quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill,’ which said that the Office of the Undersecretary for Administration (OUA), through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service (DRRMS), enjoins schools and offices across all levels of the Department of Education (DepEd) to participate in the 2022 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 9, 2022.

The First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill has been implemented on 10 March 2022. The NSED spearheaded by the Office of Civil Defense in partnership with other local and national government agencies conducts the Simultaneous Earthquake Drill quarterly. Through a Facebook post, NSED invited the public to participate in the second quarter online. It will be live-streamed on Civil Defense PH and NDRRMC Facebook pages and YouTube channels.

Besides that, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service of the Department of Education have also shared a Twibbonize frame to be used and shared by the public to support the implementation of the Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.
